SAFHER project updates

Update on our SAFHER Go progress

September 20, 2024
Hello SAFHER Community,

This week, the SAFHER team is sharing information about the offline application, also known as SAFHER Go. The SAFHER EAC and team received a sneak peek of the application earlier this month.

Here is what both teams learned…

SAFHER Go, which operates on Windows 11, will allow field staff to complete regulatory tasks and actions without the internet. SAFHER Go users can see when their data was last synced, and trigger a sync to refresh data on all offline forms. SAFHER Go users will be able to access past inspections and facility information offline to help complete their current inspection in the field.

The application also features auto recovery: In the event the application unexpectedly closes, the user can return to where they left off. User data is saved when the application closes. Appian is working to ensure that the performance of SAFHER Go is as fast as possible, so users avoid a long wait time when they upload pages or save data. Appian continues to advance SAFHER Go quality, and the SAFHER team looks forward to demonstrating the offline application soon!

Until next week,
