Hello SAFHER Community,
As SAFHER development continues, the team is excited to share the results from our first user acceptance testing (UAT).
During the week of June 17-21, the pilot states completed testing of SAFHER’s administrative console and subsequent internal and external licensing capabilities. Testing included setting up a program group type (e.g., retail, animal food program) and the program type (e.g., license). Once the program type was set, testers could apply for a license as an external user (e.g., firm owner) and then act as an internal user (e.g., licensing clerk) while approving or rejecting the license application.
The testers provided 25 individual pieces of feedback resulting in four immediate improvements to the system, and two items were identified for future development. Testers concluded that SAFHER is both easy to learn and efficient to use.
The SAFHER team extends appreciation to our pilot states for completing this testing. We are encouraged by the states’ testing feedback and look forward to more state testing sessions.
Until next week,
Kellie P. Isaac
