Hello SAFHER Community,
This week kicked off the critical pilot state discovery project starting with Iowa. The implementation and support vendor, Vision Point Systems (VPS), will learn more about data migration, external systems, and the program configuration needs through these sessions. Each meeting will assist VPS in assessing the level of effort states may need to adopt SAFHER.
The pilot state input not only better defines a state implementation process, but also informs and refines state pricing. A key objective of this discovery effort is to determine a final state pricing model and implementation plan. Team VPS will be providing their recommendations to AFDO by the end of October. Once AFDO has this information, we will communicate to the states the next steps for pricing and implementation.
The SAFHER team and Team VPS look forward to working with the rest of the pilot states as the SAFHER project moves into this next phase.
